Slackline Press is a small letterpress studio on the CT shoreline. We create custom stationery with the help of an 1896 Golding platen press named Brumhilda, a 1913 Golding Pearl named Hugo and a 1920's Sigwalt Nonpareil tabletop press named Hilde.
We start with hand drawn sketches and transfer them to digital illustration. Designs are then made into photo polymer plates and printed on recyclable 100% cotton paper. All of our designs are printed by hand in small batches.
Designer, Illustrator, Print-maker, Bookbinder, Climber, Adventurer
From P.R. to Florida and currently the CT shoreline, I am a designer and art director funneling everything that I love and do into the art of Letterpress. By day, I work as a freelance designer focusing on brand and UX/UI design.
I’ve worked for Ad agencies, small and large retail companies and once drove a forklift named Chewy. In the tiny town of Cortona, Italy I learned how to bind books the traditional way while studying book arts, paper-making, photography and oil painting.
